CALLING ALL STANWOOD HIGH & LINCOLN HILL HIGH STUDENTS!
We want your unique perspective and voice at the table to share what your school communities need and how we can better support students. This diverse group will form the inaugural Student-Superintendent Leadership Team.
Through this leadership team you will have the opportunity to work alongside Superintendent Dr. Rumbaugh and other district leaders to help shape the future of Stanwood-Camano schools. You will also develop your leadership, advocacy, and collaboration skills alongside a diverse community of peers. The team meets at the District office once a month.
The goal
Students working directly with the Superintendent, bringing the student voice to district level decision-making.
The work
Providing input on various topics including but not limited to school community, curriculum, school safety, social justice and opportunities for students.
The team
About 8-10 students from Stanwood High and about 4-6 students from Lincoln Hill High who represent and reflect the diversity of the district.
You can apply now for the Student-Superintendent Leadership Team using this form. Please spread the word to any and all who you think should consider joining this team. The deadline is January 24.
